- After sunset Venus and Saturn are a little more than 1 degree apart.
- After sunset, look for Jupiter a little more than 5 degrees upper left of Antares.

- After sunset Venus and Saturn are a little over 2 degrees apart.
- It's Mars solstice (summer in south and winter in north).

- Before sunrise, look for the Pleaides and Mars.

- Before sunrise look for the waning crescent Moon above the Hyades and Aldeberan; beneath the Pleaides.
- On the 12th, the Moon is at its northernmost position.

- After sunset, look for crescent Moon near Saturn.
- At the same time, look for Venus near Regulus.

- After sunset, just infront of Leo, look for Venus near Regulus and Saturn.
- Look for the crescent Moon at the rear foot of Leo, upper left of Venus.

- Look for waxing crescent Moon beneath Virgo near Corvus.

- Mercury is at greatest elongation in early morning before sunrise.

- Waxing gibbous Moon near Antares and Jupiter.
- Before sunrise, look for Mars to the right of Pleaides.

- Look for gibbous Moon in Teapot (Saggitarius).
- Look for Mercury before sunrise.

- Full Moon occurs 8:48PM EDT.
- Look for Jupiter in Scorpius, above Antares.
Tuesday 31 July 2007
- Before sunrise look for Mercury, about 7 degrees from Pollux of Gemini.
- At the same time look for Mars riding the back of Taurus the bull.
