Eligibility Requirements

  1. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
  2. At least 18 years of age by the first day of the internship
  3. Studying a STEM major
  4. Completion of a calculus-based, introductory physics (University Physics) sequence by the first day of the internship, but preference will be given to students who, by then, have taken a course in quantum mechanics, or have advanced computing and/or engineering skills. (junior- or senior-level standing preferred)
  5. Members of groups underrepresented in STEM disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply
