I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at George Mason University.  I am an observational astrophysicist with a primary interest in external galaxies.  My current research interests focus on understanding the connection between supermassive black holes and the host galaxies in which they reside. Most of my work utilizes observations from space-based observatories such as Spitzer and Chandra.  Please visit my research page to learn more about our work.
